The Somnus Lab Sleep Pad is an advanced temperature-regulating system that circulates water through an ultra-thin network for even, whisper-quiet comfort. Powered by active thermoelectric technology, it delivers precise cooling and heating across a wide range (12°C–42°C, 54°F–108°F) to help you master your sleep environment.
Yes. You can adjust the temperature manually using the physical buttons on the Base Unit or the Bedside Buttons.
The system also features offline memory: if your Wi-Fi disconnects, Somnus Lab will follow your pre-set schedules seamlessly. If no schedule is set, it will continue running at your last selected temperature for up to 12 hours before its safety auto-off. You get consistent comfort and uninterrupted sleep, with or without an internet connection.
The device runs at 30–35dB at 1 ft (30 cm) during steady operation.
We used a professional decibel meter (A-weighted) in a very large empty room with wooden flooring, measuring from about 30cm/1ft away from the side of the unit (from which direction the noise is strongest).
At the default power setting (which we think is optimal for most users), the system stays at 30dB during steady operation, and might jump up to 35dB when ramping up. If you manually crank it up to 100% fan speed in the advanced settings, it sits around 45–48 dB.
Our testers have found that they rarely need to adjust the power settings. The default setting (50% fan speed) is usually more than enough to get the bed to the right temperature quickly.

With Somnus in-pad sensors, you can monitor your sleep stages, heart rate, HRV, and respiratory rate etc, without wearables like rings or watches.
