Overall, I love it. The Somnus base unit feels very well designed, and the pad is impressive. Most importantly, the system does what I need it to do: it helps me sleep better by regulating body temperature. The app is intuitive and well designed, and the unit is impressively quiet. As with any beta product, there have been bugs along the way. That said, the team has been very responsive to my bug reports and has fixed issues at what I consider a remarkably fast pace. Managing several nightly stages felt like more complexity than I needed. One thing that took getting used to [FIXED NOW]: the app doesn't display absolute target temperatures like a standard thermostat. Instead, it uses a relative scale from −15 to +15. verall, the hardware feels solid, the software is improving rapidly, and the team behind it is clearly paying attention to user feedback.

In a race like the Tour de France, the days are long and intense. Having a cool, comfortable sleep, and the same type of bed to return to every night, makes a huge difference in how you feel. Somnus Lab helps you disconnect, rest well, and wake up ready to race again the next day.
